Major Props to Toyota: Vetrans Day
Sorry mods if this is in the wrong sections, but i couldn't figure out where the best place to discuss the company not the vehicles was.
I just wanted to give some major kudos to Toyota and give all those people who get the "Toyota's are un-American" comment a rebuttal.
I had the honor of helping with a sporting clays event to honor our veterans and raise funds for the Green Beret Foundation last friday and one of the Primary Sponsors of the event was Toyota. Major props, un-American my foot.
For those who want more info on the event it can be found here.
And to all the veterans on these boards, a hearty thanks for your service.

Could probably go in the Off-Topic/ChitChat section, but who cares.
All the people who feel Toyota is un-American need to get with the program. Sure this may have been true say 20yrs ago, but currently vehicles like the Tundra, Tacoma, Sienna, and Camry are pretty much fully built in the USA and not overseas.

I don't care if they are "un-American". I know my truck is JPP. but it's still on the road, it's paid for, doesn't break, and can be upgraded/retrofitted at will with factory parts. Stronger aftermarket than domestic. Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, and others, are almost all US built. I usually counter with a question of how much of Chrysler, GM, Ford, are owned by foreign interests.

Thanks to all veterans, even though it's a few days after Veteran's Day. Proud to call you my "online-forum-mates".
