I was driving my 88 3.0 today and it suddenly died. Pulled it home. Tested a few things and found that the fuel pump was not coming on, turned the key on and pushed in on the air box sensor.

I also done the paper clip in the diagnostic code center and still would not start or fuel pump come on.

I took the bed off because I was needing to redo some wiring on the truck anyways and took the fuel pump out. After I took it out I hooked it up to a battery and the fuel pump would come on. So thinking it might be stuck I hooked everything back up and it is still not doing anything.

Does the relays go bad or fuses or what else should I check on.

did you blow a fusible link?? does the fuel pump turn on when the +B and FP are jumped in the diagnosis port?? good luck

 

Bone collector, when I jumped the +B and FP it still would not turn on. I take a look at these and see what I can come up with. Thanks!

 

Anyway to check to see if the relay is good without replacing it and also where is the 15 AMP fuse at, I can't seem to figure it out.
