'95 3.0 rear main seal gasket?

So, I have this engine on my stand. I decided to fix the oil pan leak while it's out. I also am replacing the valve cover gaskets (on leaks slightly), and on a whim decided to get a rear main as well.

Here is my question.

I have a Felpro rear main. I am replacing some other brand aftermarket rear main which was not leaking.

Both the dry seal cover on there and the new Felpro seal have a gasket for teh seal cover.

The FSM says to just use FIPG around the cover.

I have a tube of FIPG on hand for the oil pan and baffle plate.

What is the consensus on the rear seal holder?

Paper gasket, FIPG, or some combination thereof?

I just need to grease the seal, make a decision and I can slap the bottom back together, flip her over and hit the VC's.

Thanks to those with experience for the voices of wisdom in advance.

In case anyone was wondering...

I decided "when in doubt go by the FSM."

It called for FIPG and no gasket, so that is what I used.
