Factory cab over weber carb, problems

Ok my 86 Toyota come with a webber 32/36 carb and a 2 inch spacer and every time I get on a hill or anything it try's flooding on me my air screw is alll the way in so I bought a factory carburetor and t won't bolt up without the throttle linkage hitting the intake and I can not find anyyyywhere to get a spacer to fit the factory carb any help this is temporary until I get my weber rebuilt if it's worth it

Okay... Are you saying your truck currently has a Weber on it. Correct.. Your wanting to temporally swap out the Weber for a Factory Carb right...

Under the Factory carbs there's a roughly 1/2" spacer plate thingy. If you don't have that then that's why your linkage is hitting the intake. I dunno we're you can buy that part unless you find a used one.

For aftermarket spacers you may try

Factory phenolic spacer is still available from the dealer actually, and for not that much cash. The gaskets are permanently attached to it as well, so it's a much better deal than trying to make the aftermarket ones not leak.
