So I bought me a nice 90' yota and it ran perfectly with 187,000 miles and i got some swampers and it was a really good truck for about....... 3 weeks, i got in insured and everything and i was driving it to work and NOW it has a rod knocking. I was wondering if a 302 v8 swap or some sbc would be too much for the ifs? or should i go 4 cyl? i want a good swap without changing my tranny or transfer case TOO much or shorten the driveshaft. just give me some ideas!! This is my first Yota and I have gone over the ideas several times, i just know its gonna be tedious work. any ideas would be great lol.
