My 5 speed manual transmission just stopped working. I was driving on the freeway and I heard a pop and it stopped going. It wouldn't drive anymore. I'm taking it apart but I'm still not sure what it is. What could it be? It's stuck in 5th, I can't really shift it at all. I tried but its stuck. Like a linkage isn't connecting. Any suggestions? I'm just trying to move it if possible.
