1990 Toyota Pickup Plow truck build....need suggestions
My Rig:
1990 toyota pickup 22re 4x4, 2 in lift, built and dyno'd engine (160 hp)
hello everyone, i was wondering if you all could help me on my bulid on my truck to put a plow on it. once i get enough information and plans i will be starting a build thread.
i am looking to put a 6.5 ft western plow (non unimont) on my Yota. I have put one on a toyota before but couldnt come up with a good way to build/mount to plow mounts to the truck.
I was wondering if anyone has done this before?
Also Does anyone have any pictures or ideas for how to build the mounts and how to mount the plow mounts on a toyota truck?
i am also working on the GM alternator swap. the last truck i ran the plow on had a stock alternator and the juice that the plow pump took would kill the engine. i am looking to choose a 12si 94 amp alternator.
Do you believe that 94 amps would be ok to run the plow on a single battery?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
