Ready to give up!!!!!!3.0

Any advice would help my problem is on a 1994 4runner 3.0slow recently did a head job on the drivers side due to a burnt exhaust valve on the number 2 cylinder we had head machined valve seats cut resurfaced etc..It has all new ngk o.e.em plugs new wires rotor and cap timing is also correct due to the specs givin off here. New timing belt water pump also. Compression is right at about 150 p.s.i on all 6 cylinders. Now to the problem is still has a skip\miss fire on cylinder 3 and 4 like i mentioned compression is good. Also speedo all of the sudden is not working not sure but doubtful this is related at all. I am no mechanic by no means but my father is a very good one well on domestic vehicles especially. I hope I explained everything clear enough and did not leave anything out. Valves were adjusted on the side that was fixed also did not touch the other side as it seems all good not smoke no milky oil so ruling out head gasket for passenger side it all seems fine. Thanks in advance for any input.

Based on what you changed, injectors maybe? Only thing you haven't touched are the coil/ignitor and distributor.

Thats what im thinking is 3&4 injector but those cylinders were good or atleast seemed to be before we did the head job. Thanks for your input we will take the intake off tomorrow and check those injectors.

Ya. Since 3&4 are on different sides of the motor, can't imagine that the head gasket change on one side affected the other. You could also pull the plug wires on this cylinders to see if there is a change. Same with the injector connectors.

Wires crossed? Is that how you determined which cylinders were missing?

no wires are correct if its missing and you pull that wire off and there is no change in how its running then that is the bad cylinder.

So, sounds like you've ruled out spark air and compression, all that's left is fuel.
