Since then I have also picked up a 2007 that I plan to do some work on. It will probably be 6 months or so before I really get into her as my wife has a very firm "6-month no touchy" rule on any new vehicles. Maybe I will try to squeeze some in though. I don't plan on doing much except dress her up a bit at first. Here are the details...

My first plan is to remove the bed canopy, we might sell it as we are naked bed people.

 

Looks like a really good base to start with! Just a little tip I learned a few years back. Get some very fine, I prefer 0000 steel wool from lowes or other parts place. Must be very fine. Then get some Chrome polish. Take a little polish on the wool and start rubbing the chrome tip. You would not believe what it will do to Chrome parts. Take a look at the ole intertube for chrome polishing. It will take rust and stains out of Chrome. Will make it look brand new.
