Got some strange sounds going on.

My girl is trying to develop some more character and got some new sounds going on. None of which I think are anything catastrophic.

First one: this doesn't come up much at all since I don't rev my 22re that high, but every time I hit 4k there is a squeal like one of the belts is slipping or kind of like when a idler bearing goes out. It might be my imagination but the power band dies off quickly. Like I said this never comes up because I don't go that high often, if ever.

Sound two: this is an interesting one. When I turn off my truck my dash sounds like it has a ghost in it and then it sounds like water boiling. I am sure it's AC related, but it blows cold as hell. Anyone have any ideas?

That sound only happens when the AC has been on. Otherwise both heater and AC work fine.

The second sound is probably your expansion valve on the AC system. Mine hisses all the time (when the AC is on), but it is also converted to R-134a. You could be a little low on refrigerant, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah now the second sound is happening all the time when I am driving. It kind of sounds like a water bong, but the AC is blowing cold. I am sure I need some refrigerant , but mine is not converted to r-134a. This may be related or not but when I go from all the way cold setting and then turn it up to the hottest setting my dash sounds like a mini river, but its been doing that for as long as I can remember.
