92 Pickup 22RE Coolant Leak

Yesterday I discovered a small puddle of coolant under my truck and found that it was coming from the air chamber/intake manifold gasket. Do any of you know if there are coolant passages running through that area? I searched but couldn't find anything.

Isn't that a coolant line directly under your arrow? Coolant line to iac runs through there.

The leak is coming from the gasket between the air chamber and the intake manifold, where the red RTV is. I checked all of the coolant hoses around the throttle bottle and they're dry. The coolant seeps out of the top of the gasket. I tried torquing the bolts down a little tighter but it still leaks.

Can't be leaking coolant there, don't doubt it's collecting there but it can't leak out there it would have to be near full of fluid todo so and that is the air intake pipe, eg no coolant passages.

Here is a picture of the intake with the plenum removed, from Philberts headgasket thread

See the thermostat housing where the upper radiator hose connects. I'd try there first, but it could be blowing back from one of the temp sensors also.

Good luck sir heres hoping it's not a cracked intake!

Thanks Co 94 PU, that's sounds right. There's no way coolant could be coming from that gasket. I'll find out tomorrow.
