Truck starts but wont idle

Well my truck has a rebuilt carb "i did it myself" and its purred like a kitten the past 2 month but I start it up it starts fine, i go to put some stuff up in the shop and as im walking to my truck it sound like it got a weird idle like its not getting enough fuel then dies. I don't have a vacuum leak. Now when i start it it starts and dies right away i can pump the gas and start it and it runs for a few seconds. i can drive it around the block too but i have to constantly be on the gas or it will die. I checked all my gas lines and they look good.
