85 4runner , how far does slave cylinder have to move clutch fork to fully disengage
hello ,I have a 85 4runner , I was wanting to know how far does slave cylinder have to move clutch fork to fully disengage so when stopped you can put into first gear . im having trouble sometimes getting it into first gear when stopped..thank you .

i just bought a new toyota oem slave and master cylinder bled them didnt help , bracket is ok , the clutch doesn't slip .I did adjust free play . what it might be is the push rod is not pushing the clutch fork enough to fully disengage

check for clutch fork free play/movement.
don't bother dropping the tranny until its the last option you can think of like me...and if you do, just pop in a new clutch kit while you're in there
