1989 pickup v6 3.0 without ac
ok doing the waterpump for the first time want to make sure i order everything thats needed..

i got coolant running down the front drivers side of the block by the plastic cover.. also runnuing water sound inside the cab.

so i plan on ordering new
waterpump and gasket
thermostat and gasket
upper and lower rad hoses
timing belt
tensioner and idler.. everything oem except hoses prob.. anything else im overlooking.. do not want to be in there again

 

When you get the fan bracket off, turn it upside down & pour some motor oil around the bearing seal. Leave it like that while you work on the engine. It will slowly seep into the bearing & extend the life of the bracket bearing significantly!
