ok so i was driving down the road in my 1990 4runner and all of a sudden my crusie control shuts off and my speedometer goes to 0 mean while i am still driving down the road fine, my check engine light is on and when i press the cruise button the light on the dash still lights up. I have no idea what it could be any advice is well appreciated

 

Cable came disconnected or broke. Check at transfer case passenger side just in front of rear driveshaft. You half to pull your instrument cluster to check the other end.
