99 and 96 use different electronics. Why not use the original wiring from the 96?

because the previous owner of the 4runner butcherd th eharness and all i could find on ebay was this ;99 harness witch looked the same at first glance t'il i layed it out and started plugging it in and got to the airbox to realize i had no wires to hook up to my maf sensor and air pressure sensor so now i need to figure out a way to make this work.

Well, the seller is incorrect. Return the harness and find the correct one.

Or, get the wiring diagrams and start making custom wiring. The 99 Uses a MAF, and the 96 uses an Airflow Meter (AFM). Very different systems
