Question Hollister Nov. 2?

Anyone interested on going to Hollister Sat. Nov. 2? I'll be heading down for my first trip.

Steve,

Thanks for the link, that sounds like a good time. I'm wondering about the Deer Valley trail, and especially the"gatetkeeper" - my Runner is basically stock, don't have any additional rocker panel protection, and haven't done any trail rides yet. Is Deer Valley something for novices with a stock truck?

Thanks,

Tom

I'm not really sure, I'll let Terry answer for you on ODW.

Personally, I think the gate keeper will leave you with some dents in your bumperettes (the chrome rear bumper). I went there last year in my off roading infancy and chickened out because I didn't have any armor. We got my friends grand cherokee through without damage though. He was lifted a couple inches, which means he was still lower than a stock 4R. But again, I'll let Terry answer since those guys have much more experience. If you do end up going, take off your running boards.
