I am looking for a GEN 1 door control toyota 85980 - 89101.

 

Can you post a picture of what you need? Or a description of what it does? There are a lot of little boxes and switches for a lot of different functions. And what year? 1st gen is different depending on whether you mean Pickups or 4Runners.

89 4Runner, it is the door control relay that controls all the door function. my front windows have stopped working and all my research tells me this is likely the problem. the post with the ebay link below show a pic of exactly what it looks like with the exception of mine being black and diff part #s. but they are both door control relays.

I think that relay only controls the locks. The power for the windows goes through the switch on the door. Chances are the switch is melted. You can either try to repair the switch and install relays to carry the current, or you can replace the switch. I would pull the switch off the door panel and see if it is melted.

it is deff the relay not the switch i have checked the switches plus both front windows went out at the same time, in the down position. thanks for the info though

 

I replied to your PM. I assume you've already checked the fuse?

 

You can use a window module by directed 535T and
And a DEI 451m for door locks . My factory module stoped working I haven’t attempted to repair. I’m going to clean and solder new joints but have come up with this solution. I have repaired other vehicles in the past with common issues using theses aftermarket products. I will update info as I get into my finding and thread if I don’t get my oem module repaired .
