Question 1987 TOYOTA Pickup Odometer Correction

Hey Guys,

The other day i have bought a 1987 SR5 Gauge Cluster for my 1987 pickup and was wondering how to do the odometer correction on it? can someone tell me step by step instructions on how to do it? my Truck is 4WD And is a 22RE motor

You need to remove the speedometer from the cluster and then turn each wheel of the odometer with a small pick or your fingers if you have small ones and can grab them hard enough. Each wheel snaps halfway into position then all the way. I don't know if it would damaged it to go backwards so I went normal direction just in case.

Using this method mine still turns normal after 14,000 miles.

That's what I did as well.

You can actual just remove the clear plastic cover face and then turn the numbers. Unless that is what was meant. You'll need to still separate it from the speedo-meter cable to all of this.
