need advice on suspension lifts

I currently have a 1985 pickup with stock suspension. I want a total lift of roughly 7 to 8 inches, and I know I could do a 5 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift (which I may do), but I wanted to know how difficult it is to get it to that height with just suspension. My roll bar is welded on and I dont particularly want to cut it off and modify it so it works with a body lift. What is a good kit/what parts do I need for a 7 inch suspension lift? I know I would need the drive shafts extended, about how much would that cost? i will greatly appreciate any help you guys can give me.

For what? You can run 37" tires with 4" lift.
7-8" is retarded.

7-8 I agree would be overkill and pointless. Keep it at 4 and have a functional good looking truck.

And with an 85 why would you do a body lift????

think all pro makes an extreme lift kit of 7.5 inches for a solid axle 4runner.
