TJM turn signal wiring. Splice or plugs?

For those of you who have installed the TJM bumper, are you just cutting and butt-connecting the turn signal wires or is there a nice, neat, aftermarket plug that is generaly preferred to allow the bumper to be easily removed? I guess there could be a connector in the parts bag but I do not have that here with me.
Thanks,
Mike

There were some 3m connectors in the parts bag that you just clamp onto the wires.

They're not plugable though, if you wanted to take it off, you'd have to cut it. I personally used them and just wound up all the excess wire and zip tied it so I'd have plenty to work with on the few times I might take it off.

I soldered mine, but there are a few different types of disconnectable connectors available. Just make sure you get a good stable connection with the wires.
