So my 22r 82 Toyota Pickup has been having some engine problems recently and it's getting worse. Whenever I'm at a full stop and start to accelerate my truck seems like it has no power and out of no where it will jump/sputter and all the power will come back, and it will drive fine for about 30 seconds and sputter/jump a little more. It only used to do this in 1st and 2nd gear and would stop once I got to a fast speed, but now it's happening in all gears and continually getting worse.. It only does this under acceleration, but not when in neuteral. It sounds a little rough while ideling.. Someone told me to change the fuel filter to see if it helps. It did not, I cleaned the carb and it was good for 2 days and came back.. I'm thinking it's the carb but I need opinions? What do you think it could be? (this started about 2 weeks ago)
