Anyone replace stock muffler with a turbo ?

While my mechanic friend is replacing the tranny on our '95 4runner, we were talking about him replacing the muffler with the Flowtech Raptor that was going to go on my Volvo 240 since it's 2" in/out. The muffler is about half the legnth of the stock, but we have some piping to cover that,I'm wondering is it going to be too much louder than stock or have a buzz ? I'm going for more power and /or mpg's, not noise. My wife drives this overall as I drive the brick (Volvo) lol. Thanks in advance !

I had this on my 4Runner 3.0 v6 with Doug Thorley headers and a full 2 1/4" exhaust.

Here's what it sounded like.

Maybe it's the bass on my speakers, but it sounds a bit loud.
