The natery was disconnectedband reconnected, I have no FOB and cannot figure out how to unlock the ignition. Best I can tell it has a dealer installed alarm with both the red button and toggle switch on the left. I have tried several sequences of on/off and locking the door. Any suggestions?

 

locked or wont do anything. Like it wont even turn? Cause I dont think an alarm can lock an ignition.

 

Sorry, the ignition will turn. But the truck will not turn over. It is the alarm, I found an old thread here, but not sure how the reset the alarm.

 

Sounds like it may be an aftermarket alarm if you have a toggle switch. I don't know any factory alarms that use toggle switches?

Most alarms are merely a circuit interrupt set that cuts the black wire to the switch. If you cannot get a FOB for it, take your lower dash off and CAREFULLY remove all traces of alarm setup. Return the truck to stock, and you won't have that problem anymore.
