i have finaly opened the yota up and got it in 5th gear.. and it whines? and when i take off and let the clutch out to fast it clunks?? I need help on these 2 errors then it will be mint.. Any help? please, thanks.

 

I've had two different W56-B transmissions in my truck, they both had a whine in 5th gear, I think they all pretty much do that. I've put thousands of miles on them.

 

haha thanks.. what about the clutch? all my U joints are fine. ive heard its just a toyota thing.. just want to make sure..

 

check your rear pinion bearing and ds spline for the clunk if the u's are tight

 

Driveshafts mint not loose, How should i check the pinion bearing?? pull on the yoke see if theres any slop?
