weber 32/36 setup/diagrams

Searched like crazy, cannot find what i'm looking for...

I just did a motor swap in my red pickup. I deleted the EGR, and pretty much anything emissions related. Blocked off the ports on the head, intake, and exhaust. I put a weber 32/36 on it, but now i'm stumped.

I have no idea where to run the vacuum ports for the distributor advance, and the PCV valve.

Among these issues, i have no idea what to do with the two charcoal canisters sitting in my engine bay. One of them is under the battery in the front, with vacuum hoses running out, and the other is against the firewall on the passengers side.

Do i need those things, or are they junk that can be tossed?

Can anybody take a picture of their vacuum line routing on their non-smog 22r with a weber?

And don't tell me to put my aisin on, it's completely shot.

Well, I don't really know what to tell you about the canisters, other than on my Runner it's a vacuum canister under the battery(or where mine was), and the one on the firewall is the charcoal canister. As for the distributor bit, most people have good luck just going to the the port on the base of the Weber, however mine runs better with the vacuum advance hooked up to full manifold vacuum. PCV valve on mine was routed from the valve cover to an adapter that was part of the Weber kit, kind of triangle shaped with a 3/8" or so barbed tube coming out of it.

I scrapped everything including the canisters. If I didn't need it to run the Weber I got rid of it. I attached the disty port closest to the radiator to the port on the Weber. The PCV runs to the triangle fitting bolted to the manifold as stated above. The EGR has been removed as well and I made a block off plate for the rear of the head. I have run both the 32/36 and the 38 using the same setup. Tuning is the MOST important thing making the Weber perform. I would never go back to the Aisin.

Don't have the plate for the egr block off on the manifold, all i did was make one.. so i can't run the PCV to that. I'll have to fab something up.

At this point, the tuning is the last of my worries. I need to fix the cam timing anyways, it's off by a tooth on the cam gear and i had to max the distributor all the way advanced just to get the engine to run.

When it does run, it pretty much sounds like a lawnmower haha

Welp, got the thing runnin. PCV isn't connected to anything at the moment.

Seems to run okay, but it's not nearly as responsive as it was with the aisin. And for some reason, when i drive it, and i stop at a stop sign from moving it'll cut out and die. When i restart it i have to hold the pedal to the floor, like it's flooded out.

On top of that, i managed to strip out the stud at the collector on my exhaust manifold, so now theres an exhaust leak..

They are very finicky carbs. Tuning it will make a HUGE difference. They sound like a tractor and run worse than one if you don't take the time to tune it. Here are the instructions. http://www.redlineweber.com/html/Tec...lean_best_.htm

Alot of what i'm noticing has to do with going from the 3rz in my tacoma, to the 22r in my pickup..

After i get the vacuum advance hooked up, i'll be able to tune it.

Really? Wouldn't have known. I mean, this is my first few posts and all.

The sticky in the newbie section is a tuning guide, doesn't show the vacuum routing. I mean, i guess i've never read it or anything.
