Cab smells like fuel when first started

Cab smells like fuel when first started
I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup with a 3VZ-E engine. I had it rebuilt a little over a year ago and lately when I start it up a strong smell of fuel flows into the cab and lasts for about 2-3 minutes. Any help or ideas on what it could be??
