i went wheeling last night and my air filter got a little wet. i dried it out, and when i went to start it, it backfired so bad it blew the muffler apart. Then it started, ran rough for about a minute. then ran just fine. When i went to start it this morning, it started idling really high. After it warmed up, it was still idling high, around 1,500. normally it idles around 1,000 when warmed up. i checked and there are absolutely no vacuum leaks. i drove it around and made two runs to the parts store. I changed the oil (it was due for one anyways) and welded on a new muffler, and it is still idling high. any ideas anybody?
