Well,... it all started whne I took my truck to the dealre to get my tranny rebuilt. After I got it back I noticed a power loss only noticbale by me(of coarse) and bad gas mileage!!! I am only gettting like 16 miles to gallon thsat being very forgiving too,.. it about 15 - 16 miles a gallon. I change out the plugs to OEM pre gapped. Old plugs were clean. All the fluids are fresh and I always changed them when I am suppose to. I ran two cans of BG44K through the truck and it the truck did run better as in got some of its power back but nothing really on the mileage problem. I thought that maybe the truck was burning the 44k which gave the extra power? I dont know. It truck had this rough pop kinda sound, or putt putt noise coming from the exhaust. When I ran the 44k through that putt putt noise went away but its back. I dont have any problems starting truck up. Only when its really cold out that the truck will somewhat hesitate to start. I changed out the air filter. I just bought a new fuel filter and ignition wires. I am going to flush the engine with atf soon and then replace with mobil1 10w. I dont know whats wrong with the truck. It only has like 60 something thousand miles on her. She only a 4cyl. at 2.7 liters. She shold be be doing this bad,... What are some possibilities? My engine light is not on so does that mean all my sensors are ok? What are the chances of one of them failing and the engine light not coming? What about the exhaust? There was this rattling noise coming from the exhaust before,... wasnt anything external as in heat shields. But now its gone. Clogged exhaust? Bad CAT? I also noticed,... that when I forst get my truck rolling after it has sat fro awhile isnt doesnt roll all to well at first,... until I guess the truck has been rolling for a bit. It kinda feels like the ebrake is slightly engaged. But goes away when warm. there is no clicking of any kind coming from down there. What are the chances of me losing power and mileage through the drive train after they rebuilt the tranny? Is there anything they could miss or screw up that would cause more resistence? They wont look at the truck because theres nothing wrong with the truck. nothings broken. They drove the truck and said they dont feel any power loss even though they have never drove this truck. What do you guyz think? So when I get my parts,.. im goin gto o another fluid change and run some more 44k though through the truck. see if that does the trick. Other than that im stumped.

 

No one? I have this ticking noise,... under the hood, right on the other side of the firewall, drivers side. I am thinking injectors. How often should you get them cleaned as in back flow cleaned. I mean I run only super through the truck and I use 44K here and there,... why are they ticking so much. If they have a ˟˟˟˟ty spray pattern that could very well be why I am gtting ˟˟˟˟ty gas mileage. No? Also,... my exhaust tones suck,... putt putt putt putt. I am thinking that my injectors are dirty and dribbling gas into the cylinder[s] and therefore the putting is poor ignition/ unburnt gas,... have to get down there and see if my exhaust smeels more like gas,...
