I need a picture of the AC brackets mounted to the motor without smog pump so that I can reinstall my AC unit.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 bolts that mount to the timing cover.

There is on top and bottom bolt that mount to the side of the motor. I bolted these on first and its pretty hard to get a wrench in there.

 

Thanks for pictures Old Blue. But looking at them, yours seems to be different. It appears that your idle pulley is on top. mine is on the bottom. The bracket that I am having problem with is triangle like with 3 holes. Don't know where it goes.

 

The pictures are of an 83 so the brackets might have changed. You could just mess with it and see what looks right.
