Exclamation 94 Pickup Build-up... check engine light???

I got this about 8 months ago, I'm 16 and this is my first truck. I bought it off of craigslist for $2,500. I had to get a new 3.0 v6 3VZE engine and it already has the check engine light on and its caused a huge loss in power. It also has a very loud constant knocking noise in 4wd. All new carpet and seats reupholstered, new speakers and 10" mtx audio sub. When i got it, it had a dual exhaust on it but we had to put a stock one on to pass smog. New rear shocks, need front ones. 35" super swamper radial tsl's... they are almost done so im going to get discoverer mud terrains. The ad on craigslist said that it had a 10" lift but i really don't think it does! Not sure what kind of gearing it has, but it really creeps in 4low! I want to get a SAS, bobbed bed, exhaust, and a new bumper because mine fell off and i have lights that i want to mount on it.
My check engine light will be off when i start the truck up but it turns on pretty quick once i start driving, and right when it does you can feel it bog... really want to get it fixed!

If you have any suggestions for me, or any ideas about what is wrong with my engine or 4wd please let me know!!!

More pictures to come-
