Is a lift needed for these tires?

Greetings, I am looking into purchasing a 1990 V6 extended cab. It has not been lifted and currently has tires 225 75 15 on it. The guy selling is offering to throw in some wheels from his newer tundra. They are new and look sweet. I'm just not sure if it will require a lift to fit them on. They are 265 70 16. Visually it's hard to tell if they'll fit. I know little about wheel sizes, any help much appreciated

That comes out to a 31.6. They should fit fine. If anything, you might have to trim the pinchweld, but thats easy peasy...

Just make sure the backspacing on the rims will your on the 90.

Yeah you shouldn't have an issue but if anything might need to take a hammer to the pinch weld to the inside wheel well so you don't damage your tires but I doubt that's needed

FYI: Tundra rims are 5 lug instead of 6 lug like your pickup.

Um...FYI 1st gen Tundras all had 6-lugs, not 5 like the 2007+ version.

31" tires should fit without any issues or need to pound pinch weld.
