EGR bolts on the exhaust manifold (cant reach them)

last week or so i was trying to remove the egr. the top return pipe is cake because its easily accessible. Im having the worst time trying to get the bottom section out though. i can find a way to reach those 2 bolts that connect the egr to the exhaust manifold and im trying to avoid taking everything out just to get to them.

there is a hard hose, a power steering pump and all kinds of objects in the way. going from underneath didnt seem to help either, nor from behind the wheelwell.

any tips? how did you remove those bolts?

I just did this tonight. If battery isn't removed...remove it for room. I used a regular old 12mm socket for the top bolt and an extension for the bottom bolt.

Get creative and use curse words. That worked for me. Oh yeah, and watch your knuckles!
