first off its a 93 22re. I was driving to town 26 miles from home and around town doing errands. I had a/c going. I noticed temp hand reading about 3/4 th over. not in red though. then back down to about half way. now usually temp hand only reads about 1/4 th of line. when I get back home I hear the antifreeze bubbling in the expansion tank. checked oil and there were no water on dipstick. checked under radiator cap after it cooled down and there were no oil in antifreeze. drove it to town the next day and temp hand never went above 1/4 th, and when I shut it off no bubbling in expansion tank. could it be a blown head gasket or bad thermostat? oh and the engine only has about 14000 on rebuild.
