Hit it with some DW-40 and you'll be good to go.

Check your U joints.

When was the last time you greased your zerk fittings on the driveline?

Zirks have been maxed with grease. u joints are snug. center support bearing is still mint. i jacked it up today and put it in drive, and got out a stethiscope...the squeak is coming from where the pioin seal is. i pulled the drain plug on the reaer differential, and it gasped a bunch of air. from what i have learned, those seals can only hold up to 15 psi. my bleeder valve was stuffed with dirt, so i cleaned that guy out and replaced it with some teflon tape. still a little bit of a squeak. its weather dependant too....not as bad when its cold and rainy, but much louder when hot and dry. squeaks only when the drive shaft is engaged at low speeds. for example, when i had it jacked up, i put the truck in nuetral, and turned the axle by hand to pinpoint where this is coming from....my neighbor thinks i am being anal retentive.

i think it uploaded this time. the squeak resonates throught the rear propeller shaft, but with a closer listen, im pretty sure the source is near the pinion seal.

Pinion seal and/or bearing should be replaced.

Best. Nothing. Worst your pinion bearing explodes or seizes up and grenades your whole diff or you get abducted by aliens.
