22RE turns off when coming to a stop HELP

So my 1986 Pickup (4x4, EFI, etc) and when I'm getting off the freeway or coming to a stop sign it 75% of the time just completely turns off and I have to bump start or re-start it. Any idea what could be causing this? I've messed with the idle and that doesn't seem to change anything and it seems to mostly happen once it's warmed up.
Thanks!

Also, a lot of the time when I start it the Charge Battery and E-Brake lights stay on (on the dash) even though the battery is fine and the e-brake is off....any ideas?

check for vacuum leaks. I'd also check your idle speed too. I have an 89 22re 5 speed that was doing the same thing. I found a TON of vacuum leaks that were gifted to me by the previous owner.

It's a manual, I'll look into the idle control valve....

Do the rpms slowly drop down and the engine dies? Or does the engine just completely shut off when you stop... from idle to 0 rpms right away?

...its a manual? Are you sure you are in the "neutral" position or "clutch in" when you stop? JK!!!!!
