87 4runner 22RE injectors don't fire

Seen many posts on this, trying to get more ideas. Truck ran great, then would not start. Has good spark, trys to run on cold start injector then dies. Fuel pressure and COR is good. Injector circuits have 12v, click when I short E01/E02 to #10/#20 at ECU. Verified AFM and TPS per factory manual. Checked continuity of IGt, IGf and NE between ignitor and ECU. Getting IGf and NE signals at ECU. Check engine light works, no codes. Cleaned all grounds. What else should I check, other than trying a new ECU?

Do you have all grounds hooked up including the one under the intake mani?

On my 87 22re injector one wasn't firing due to do bad wiring. I was not getting a 12v signal to Injector #1. My problem was different than yours though.

How bout a compression test?

Thanks, just last night we cleaned and measured the 4 grounds on the motor including the intake. None of the injectors are firing, but it starts and runs perfectly for about 3 seconds from the cold start injector squirt. I can manually fire the injectors (hear a click) from the connector on the ECU, so I know injector circuit is OK. Motor was rebuilt about 3 years ago, so has good compression.

A lot of good info there. Looks like I need to check the injector wiring splices in the harness. Thanks!

Checked all the wiring and looked good, injectors worked fine when fired manually. Bought a used ECU and fired right up.
