possible afm failure

I have a 1990 pick up 22re 2wd, single cab. I just swapped a long block, new distributer, new tps, new fuel filter. I get check codes 24,31,51. Athe truck will start and run for a few seconds and die, sounds like from lack of fuel. I've been trying all I can think. Any help would be great. Reply here or text or call me. 909 557 0199
Thanks ahead of time.

Austin.

Check the fuel fuse? Check the pins on the Fuel Pump Connector? Checked to be sure none of the pins in the AFM connector have backed out or are hanging there? Checked the COR? (Not sure if the 90 has a COR... sorry, mostly an 85-87 owner thus far, lol). Have you done the 4crawler fuel pump cheap tricks bypass and otherwise cheap tricks listed? lol>>>>

Fish around in there and see if you can't rule a few things out with a POE(Process of Elimination)
