Im new here.. i have a 91 toyota pickup 3.0l v6 with 121k miles.. i was replacing the clutch,slave cylinder flexplate. bearings..while the tranny was out on the ground and i was sitting up under the truck i was like hmmm needs a oil change as well.. drained it and went back to putting the tranny back in.
Everything was back together hooked the battery back up and started it drove it for about 5 minutes and was back home.. call me dumb,idiot etc im a gear head and i was so eger to see if i did everything right and drove before putting oil back in it.. still runs but is knockin and tickin and stuff.. lost alil oil presure. i think its a rod. but i came on here and made a account to get opions on what to do..
Get a new short block
3.4 swap
or rebuild the motor myself???
