Personally neither, but the KM2's get better reviews. Buy tires according to usage, not because they are trendy... Match terrain needs with your needs, not the status quo per say, as there is no one tire engineered to suit every terrain and preference.

How do they do in that nasty Alabama red clay Wabbit? Never ran Nittos myself. I use to run the old boogers down to about 5 psi without bead locks in Grayrock after some rain for a few days and they worked good. Not to great on the rocks ..

Buddy of mine just replaced his Hankook Dynapro MTs with a set of Trail Grapplers and so far there is no comparison. Great all-around tire.
Only downside is they do not offer anything but a 33x12.50 for 15" rims.

I watched a guy in a Samurai that he just had built and had about $2000 into the shocks alone get stuck on a little muddy hill because his MT/Rs wouldn't clear, he parked it and cursed the tires. I have no real experience with the KM2's as it seems to be more of a trendy mall crawler on 22's tire.

they do pretty darn good in the mud. As a bonus, their quieter on the highway than my old BFG A/T's, and they do better in the snow. But again, thats just me...

So would you recommend the trail grapplers? This is the first time I've heard good news about nittos and I've always thought they were just for looks with some of their "flame" tread pattern and what not... but If you guys really like the trail grapplers then I'll take your word for it and buy them
