1985 4runner power steering pump

Stock pump can barely handle stock steering set up, in my opinion. You would at least need to go with a pump like the TG hydro pump. But you should find out what your desired hydro winch requires and find a pump that meets but preferably exceeds those requirements.

free most often turns out top be expensive in the long run.
If you wanted to do this you would need to know the flow rate and the pressure tolerance .
then you can figure what size power unit you need .
Now since i have been told it would take some interesting fabricating to drive a pump from a Toyota transfer case your looking at a 12 volt power unit.
Now if you can source one for free then your free winch mightin the end be free.
If you need to buy all the goodies a new electric Winch of your favorite flavor is going to be cheaper.:wabbit2:
