The 22RE is an interference motor so its possible, only a few options to tell you whats going on, check the compression first.

 

More information: "Interference engine" means that pistons will contact valves, and at least bend (if not break) them.

Repair involves replacing the valve and valve guide, possibly the valve seat and piston.
Be prepared to repair all of the cylinders: all valves, guides, seats and related pistons.

 

ok.got with lc engineering out of arizona.22r,22re v6 specialist.22re is not an interferance motor unless the head had been shaved.then it will bends valves.got acomp tester and will test it later when done surfin.with all thats goin on i hope it did bends sum valves.atleast i will know where to start.gotto test cold start injector.and fuel pressure next.keep ya posted.thanx for the input

 

Well compression is zero in number one and three.90 on number two.so I removed the head.to my surprise I couldn't see any marks on any pistons.the only light I see threw any of valves is an exhaust valve.just one.......there is sum carbon build up.but with 262000 thaats to be expected yeah.???so with that said I guess to the machine shop its going. Anybody else experienced this after a guide broke.thanx.

 

After a rebuild of the head.new oil pump timing set water pump and timing cover.......she is alive hagain.thanx for the input.
