Bosch Alternator died within a month.

Hello All,

I bought a new Bosch alternator for my 93 4runner from Lordco, and within a month it has stopped working. So i have a couple questions.

Is there anything else that would cause the AT Temp/Brake/Charge light to come on?

How can i get a replacement alt without the receipt? Somehow it has gone missing....

Cheers in advance

That's why you rebuild OEM instead of replacing it with aftermarket.

Call the place you bought it and see what your options are...we don't know their policies.

If you're sure it wasn't belt squeal, it probably needs bearings. The brushes should be replaced while you're in there as well.
