I have an Alpine IVA-W203 deck with the NVE-P1 nav cartridge. Noticed a month a go when going to "source" menu "NAV" is no longer an option. When I open the deck the power led on the cartridge is not illuminated either. Tried resetting both the deck and cartridge but to no avail. Looking for someone with the same in the bay area so I can try and swap carts and diagnose the problem. Another option would be for me to send my cart to someone else with the deck and try it in theirs. Alpine wants $150 just to look at the cart after paying shipping both directions.

Anyone out there running this?

From what i understand, you can send the old cartridge back, and have them send you the new updated one for $100? It may just be that the cartridge you have went bad. I have the same radio in my 4runner. You are welcome to ship it out to me, and i can test if for you if you like. I live in PA.
