Lexus Swapped 90-95 Truck/4Runner Dash Pics

Can we do a single interior thread for the 90-95 Trucks/Runners w/ a Lexus Swap?

I've been playing over and over whether or not to skip the whole 3.4 swap idea and goto a Lexus Swap instead on my '94 4Runner. I have leads on a '94 as well as a '95 400 to get the parts from, now it's down to figuring out how to keep my interior dash as intact as possible. (Old fashioned girl at heart and all that.) Here's why, my 4Runner has the cable driven speedometer, versus the electronic one like the 93's had, since like Shane's we built mine up from a 2wd Automatic.

Any pictures, info, tech you can share here would be appreciated so it's all in one spot for reference down the road.

( Yes, I am reading all of your build threads one by one. )

Just get a gauge cluster from a 93-95. That's what I did to my 89.

I'll have to read your thread and see what you mean, if you have current pictures you can post here it would help a ton.

If I read that all right, I don't need to use anything other than my standard 1994 dash, correct? Why am I thinking or hearing otherwise??

I posted my build thread below but it doesn't have any info on changing the gauge cluster. It's physically the same piece except the older one (89-92)has a cable going from the speedometer down to the transfer case and the 93-95 uses a wire.

Here's mine, although its not the Lexus V8, it's the Toyota V8, same difference. I am running a 94' Pickup, 01' 2UZ 4.7 V8, Hybrid A340F, 94' T100 forward shift t-case, which all feeds the 01' Tundra cluster.

Running.

On a side note, I am also running this same cluster in my TBI350/4L60E swap as well.
