Little Green key light/cruise

Little Green key light/cruise
Hey, just bought myself a dd thats better on gas than my Runner.
On my 4runner I have a relay hooked up to the little green key light to my headlights so that the headlights stay on for ten or fifteen seconds after the door is shut. I want to do the same for my dd. Without taking my dash apart, does anybody know if that light is controlled by a timer relay or the computer?
