i got 91 yota 4x4, no motor or tranny. and i have a deal on a 4.3 vortec but i wana make sure it will work with the total chaos gen 3 caddy kit before i pull the trigger. i know i need custom motor mounts and the trucks goin to be 2wd so i plan on useing the 4l60e. i know ill have to make a custom crossmember. and goin to have to wire and plumb it. my main concern it how low the oil pan is and if it will clear. the truck wont have the front diff.

 

To use the 4l60e i believe you have to have a body lift as well. Isn't the total chaos kit suspension only?

Suspension should take care of your oil pan issue, but I would be more worried about fitting the tranny in the tunnel.

I'm not sure what your trying to do with the truck but I fit 36's under my truck with no cutting aside from trimming the front bumper and my 4x4 still works....

Is this some sort of desert running truck build?
