Running rich?
Need a bit more info on the truck? When it happens?
Was it ok before? Anything you can offer to help solve it.

Mtl here's the info

2002 4 runner stock except for suspension lift w/ new s/c w/ 7th inj. When I left the dealer ( they installed it), it had not that much power, then 100 miles later it kicked in big and i was happy. I drove the truck around a day flooring it and watch

The computer needs to adjust to the new increased airflow and driving style.
If it is ok now then don't worry about it at all.

sorry let me finish

I drove it for about 3 hours the day after and everything was ok.
I would punch it and watch the rmp's go right up to 4-5k and the power was there. Then i took a break from driving it, for about and hour. I took it for another ride and it felt sluggish, now when i punche it the rmp's only jumped to about 3k and moved up slower than usual. Then this morning on my was to work I warmed it up and had the heat on i punched it and the check engine light came on, i restarted it and the light never came back on. Then on my way to work the power felt good again. It seems like the problem is intermittin. The tail pipe was never black before i got supercharged i have 30k on the truck.
May this will help a bit more.
Thanks for responding...

That 7th injector will tend to make it run a bit on the rich side but that will also prevent the pinging that so many with the S/C complain about. If the check engine light came on you should see if there are any codes stored in the computer (either get an OBD II reader or take it back to the shop and have them pull them). That will help us alot in diagnosing what is going on with it. Could be an O2 sensor, could be the MAF needs cleaning or could be something totally different. Not worth speculating about it, post the code # if you get one.

The biggest damage will be to your wallet, running premium fuel at an increased rate.

Running very rich may foul up a cat converter plugs or an O2 sensor, but I wouldn't be concerned unless it has been that way for a prolonged period of time.
