1989FourRunnin's 1989 Toyota 4runner SR5 V3.0 Auto (build-up thread)

Of course this is my first build up thread and I figure I can post any and all questions, remarks, opinions, and more here without clogging up the rest of the forum with my questions here and there.

My first order of business is getting the rear wiper motor working. More then likely it is a wiring problem from the switch or fuse box to the motor. I say this because I have three motors that work fine. If someone has ideas please post them.

Ok I found a mess of wiring where someone tapped into the wiring array and made a towing electrical hookup. Wires were still there just tucked away. So I took my little test light and started checking for hot wires while at the same time leaving my rear wiper motor on! I found a wire that when it was grounded out everything worked! So I made a permanent ground to the frame. Solved .

Now I am wandering if ANY toyota model horn will work in place of my worn out OEM horn? Anyone simple yes or no will be appreciated!

Pretty much any horn will work. Just need a hot switched wire and a good ground...!
