new VIDEO: cheap truck challenge with a '80 Yota 4x4
Hot Rod Magazine recently teamed up with 4-Wheel & Offroad Magazine to pit a Chevy, Ford & Toyota against each other in their "Cheap Truck Challenge".
The idea was to spend $2K on the truck and another $2K on mods to see which was the better truck. No matter the outcome, pay attention to the last 60 seconds (21:45) where everyone admits the Yota is best for rock crawlin! Also it is worth noting that the Toyota kept running the entire time.. no stalls, no hard starts:
